PLAN TESTING FOR HOME EDUCATED 10TH GRADERS

This YEAH sponsored test administration is available to any home educated student in 10th grade. Many school districts also offer this test and home educated students may be able to test in their home districts if our dates are not convenient.
DATES: Monday, November 17, 2008; 9 a.m. - 12:30 OR 1:00p.m. - 4:30
Thursday, November 20, 2008; 9 a.m. - 12:30 OR 1:00p.m. - 4:30
Students need to arrive 15 minutes early to check in and testing begins promptly at the above times.
LOCATION: Bethany Baptist Church, 2025 Skillman Avenue, Roseville
Directions: off Highway 36, south on Cleveland about 1/4 mile. Church is on the northeast corner of Cleveland and Skillman

DEADLINE: There is no real deadline, but there is limited space so register early!
WHAT IS THE PLAN TEST?
The PLAN is made by the ACT organization especially for 10th graders so that they can practice taking the ACT. (Because it is a practice test, no preparation is necessary.) The results will be mailed to your home. Each student will get a predicted ACT score and career information. This is a norm-referenced standardized test and can be used in most school districts as the annual required test. Many colleges will also allow this test to be submitted in the PSEO application.

Students can register for the test by filling out this form, or contacting Linda, or going to the YEAH website (www.ouryeah.org) after October 1, 2008. Please do not send your registration form before this date.
TO BRING: Students should bring at least two sharpened #2 pencils and erasers, a calculator (you can not use your cell phone's calculator or timepiece) if they want to use it for the math portion of the test. There will be one break and students can bring water and/or a snack.
