Typically a 10th grade course , students
taking biology will study the characteristics of organisms
within each of the five kingdoms, components and processes of
the cell, organic chemistry, genetics, botany, and
zoology. Class time will allow students to develop
laboratory skills (microscopy, dissection, lab report writing)
as well as provide an opportunity for them to discuss what they
are learning with their peers.
Required: Internet access for students to receive class notices, download supplemental reading and worksheets, and link to applicable websites.
