Cartooning

Fall Semester 2010 Only

Class Type: One semester course 

Class Description:

   
Come and enjoy the fun and freedom of cartooning. This class will cover a wide range of projects. Time will be spent studying cartoonists and their art form, including, but not limited to works from Charles Schultz and Walt Disney. While participating in this class students will create their own characters and the worlds they live in. This experience will bring many art mediums to use: acrylic, water colors, pastels, pen and ink, clay, charcoal and many more. Students will also explore the illustration of children’s and comic books.

Supplies needed for student to purchase: Drawing Pad (about 12 x 14 - spiral works best), Drawing Pencils (H-H2-H6-B2-B4-B6 - or you can find medium range tins), Artist Kneed Eraser.  Shading Stumps optional.

Total Due:  $195.00 per semester Some art lab supplies provided by tutor.  See list above for supplies need to be provided by the student.
Minimum Downpayment: $195.00 due with Registration per semester - paid in full per semester at the time of registration.
