Divided into four sections, this class will assist students to first explore the principles of basic design and then apply it in three areas: interior, exterior, and landscape design. Students will study and utilize techniques in perspective, graphics, layout, drawing, blueprints, geometry, architecture and more. Extensive weekly homework will include both 2-D and
3-D assignments, as well as work with scale-models, life-size projects, and computer graphics. There are no reading assignments or tests in this course; a final project, a compilation of all the assignments of the semester, along with oral presentation is due at the end of the semester.
