Typically a 9th grade course, physical science
begins with the study of basic chemistry (atoms, molecules,
elements, organic chemistry, biochemistry). Students will
also cover topics such as geology (rocks, earth's structure,
earthquakes and volcanoes), basic physics (forces, motion,
sound, light, magnetism, electricity), as well as a brief look
at the solar system. Class time will include discussion
and a lab activity.
