spring 2012 - students may join Physical Science W1
(8:30-10:00 am) for spring 2012 if they have worked through
the first half of the Apologia text (first 7 modules) on their
own. There is not space available for students to enter

Typically a 9th grade course, physical science
begins with the study of basic chemistry (atoms, molecules,
elements, organic chemistry, biochemistry). Students will
also cover topics such as geology (rocks, earth's structure,
earthquakes and volcanoes), basic physics (forces, motion,
sound, light, magnetism, electricity), as well as a brief look
at the solar system. Class time will include discussion
and a lab activity.
Required: Internet access for students to receive class notices, download supplemental reading and worksheets, and link to applicable website.
