Class Size Limit: Minimum of 5 students needed for course to be offered as an Academy tutorial
Prerequisite: Per NWC CDE: 2 years of high school mathematics and qualification by ACT Math score of 18-23 (SAT I-Math score of 430-540). Admission to and acceptance by NWC PSEO program. (NOTE: Successful completion of Algebra 2 is highly recommended by The Academy tutorial staff for successful and timely completion of this course)

Must be accepted by and enrolled in NWC PSEO program.

A thorough study of algebra and operations with real numbers, the study of equations and inequalities, functions and graphs, polynomials, exponential and logarithmic functions, and systems of equations.

Academy tutorial class time will be spent discussing and explaining math concepts studied during the week by the student and answering student questions. Mrs. MacDonald’s passion and expertise in mathematics will also add vital insight and understanding to hard-to-understand and difficult concepts.

CRITICAL: Before registering for any PSEO courses, but specifically for those courses offered at The Academy, make sure the student's schedule can accommodate at least 15 hours PER WEEK to devote to work on this course.  The Academy tutorials will stay on track and it is the expectation for all students to do the same.
