results of archaeology as applied to sites and topics of OT and NT significance. Special emphasis is placed upon the interpretative and apologetic uses of archaeology.
Academy tutorial class time will be spent discussing concepts covered in the DVD’s and texts and assistance in preparing for tests, and research papers due for the course. Mrs. Baumhoefner will bring additional insight into the class to include components of Art History, World History, Biblical studies and travels. College-Prep study skills are an important element. of the course. While these are technically two courses, they are consecutive and sequential. Students may take one (OT or NT) or both (OT and NT) courses. OT will be offered for the first 9 weeks, NT for the last 7 weeks.
NOTE: This course may have some NWC revisions in these courses for fall 2007, so new students should be alert to last minute changes from previous offerings of this course at The Academy.
