ADULT EDUCATION WORKSHOPS & SEMINARS

Created to come alongside adults as they seek to be better educated, informed and equipped home educators and parents.

FAQ regarding The Academy Adult Education Classes & Workshops

• Why? This program has been created to come alongside adults as they seek to be better educated, informed and equipped home educators and parents.

• Who? Classes and workshops are open to adults: YEAH members and all homeschool families, members of Bethany Church, and non-homeschool parents (space available) .  Teens may attend workshops with their parents where it is appropriate and applicable, as noted within the workshop description.

• Where? Courses and workshops are held at Bethany Church, 2025 Skillman, Roseville, MN 55113 (site of The Academy classes). 

• When? Tuesday Evening Workshops are all held on Tuesday evenings throughout the year.  See workshop descriptions for specific times and dates.

• When? All Day Seminars are all held on Saturdays throughout the year.  See seminar descriptions for specific times and dates.

• How & When to Register? For Tuesday Evening Workshops: Payment in full is due with registration by the Friday before the Tuesday that the workshop is offered.  

• How & When to Register? For Saturday All Day Seminars: Payment in full is due with registration by the Wednesday before the Saturday that the Seminar is offered.

• Cost? Each workshop or seminar varies in cost, see individual listings on course descriptions.  YEAH and YEAH Academy member discounts apply. 

• Cancellations? If the workshop is cancelled by YEAH or the workshop presenter, registrants are entitled to a full refund.  Workshop and Seminar fees are non-refundable if the workshop is held as planned and the registrant does not attend.

 Please take the time to pre-register for workshops.  

• Workshops have been cancelled due to insufficient enrollment--and at-the-door registrants were met with a locked door because we did not know they were coming!

• Workshops have tripled in size due to last minute, walk-in registrants--and we have run out of hand outs for everyone and scrambled for extra seating to comfortably accommodate all attendees.  

• NOTIFY US by Monday night prior to a workshop via Email to YEAH@mtn.org if you will be attending, and how many.  We do not have internet or phone access during the day on Tuesday, so we need to hear from you by Monday night.

• All registrations received after the Saturday prior to a workshop need to add a $10.00 per registration late fee.  

• Thank you for your consideration to all involved--registrars, presenters and all attendees--in taking time to pre-register!
