This course is a continuation of Spanish 1 with emphasis on the structure of the Spanish language coupled with more vocabulary development, development of writing skills as well as conversational abilities to provide a firm foundation in Spanish language skills. There will be in-class explanations of Spanish structure as well as practice in pronunciation, reading and conversation.

Class Description:
This course is a continuation of the study begun in Spanish II in the Compañeros Book 2 Spanish language program with tutor. Students will continue to master the grammar and structure of Spanish as well as expand their vocabulary and writing skills. More emphasis will be placed on listening comprehension and oral communication. In the first semester of the course, students will finish the Compañeros Book 2 text and workbook. Second semester a group order of Spanish literature or conversation books will be made. Cost for these materials will be around $25.00.

Class Description:
This course is open to advanced level students who have mastered Spanish grammar and can read and write in Spanish at least on an Intermediate level. It will review and perfect Spanish grammar and structure, focus on pronunciation, conversation and listening comprehension and will include reading of classic Spanish literature revised for Intermediate and Advanced Spanish students. More emphasis is placed on reading, writing and oral communication as well as listening comprehension and will be designed with consideration to the student make up of the class. Tutor will provide reading materials (on loan) and a group order for other Spanish language books for student purchase will be placed after classes begin. Any book orders will be under $50.00/student.
